The reason the song is called “F. Kenya Rip” is because the hook “Madame Zehae Ala” was “ripped” from the F. Kenya song of the same name. The opening of Madame Zehae Ala sounds like a clumsily executed electric version of “F. Kenya Rip.” Basically, Sleepy Doug took the song, cleaned it up and added some English lyrics for the verses/chants. The name is a sort of self-deprecating homage to F. Kenya, given that the song is a sort of clean cut cover of their song.
