Pam–Thanks for your question about those at whose feet I sit! I have greatly admired Wayne Smith's ministry. I have a mentor named Bill Anderson who will soon be retiring from a ministry in Pineville, LA. The elders of Journey Christian were tremendous support, and I learned a great deal from them. I look forward to serving with our elders here as well! My grandad preached for over 50 years, and he had a significant impact on my life. I had several professors in years past who influenced me in my ministry: Virgil Warren, Hiram Cassel, and Fred Norris to name just a few. I listen to a lot of preaching from guys like Rob Bell, Francis Chan, and Matt Chandler. I also continue to learn from the “classic” preachers like Haddon Robinson (who's still preaching), Charles Spurgeon, and John Chrysostom. God bless!
