Living with Michael Jackson is a documentary, in which British journalist Martin Bashir interviewed Michael Jackson over a span of 8 months, from May 2002 to January 2003. It was shown first in the UK on 3 February 2003 and in the US three days later on ABC, introduced by Barbara Walters. Martin Bashir put the proposal to Jackson as a way to show the world the truth about him and make nothing off limits. Jacksons decision to make the documentary was made on the suggestion by his close friend Uri Geller. It later emerged that Geller had turned down another bid for the interview by journalist Louis Theroux. The interview was very unusual, as it had been extremely rare for Jackson to allow such access to his personal life, or to talk so freely about his traumatic childhood. Nevertheless, he did show some reserve when asked to discuss other personal issues, such as the plastic surgery he has had. Jackson felt betrayed by Bashir and complained that the film gives a distorted picture of his behaviour and conduct as a father. He claims that Bashir, in the final version of his interview, used only that material which supported Bashirs opinion of Jackson, which was not a favorable one. Jackson filed complaints with the UKs Independent Television Commission and the Broadcasting Standards Commission. Jacksons lawyers claimed in a British High Court case against Martin Bashir and Granada TV that the documentary was a breach of contract and breach of confidence. The proceedings were …

@TheILJ Ya maybe, but the people that have been able to see through the smoke and lies surrounding MJ number in the millions and more are coming forward every day.
@stonegrooved ya maybe, but we fans are gonna remember him in a good way, whatever haters think….. and you know what fans means, as i said, that means millions of billions of people
It’s truly a shame MJ couldn’t keep “Little Jacko” in his pants. Regardless how many records an artist sells or how much he has given to charity, its the scandals that really stick out in people’s minds. MJ could secured his legacy as a much loved humanitarian if he only hadn’t taken the easy way out in court. He should have been thinking long term and followed through with court procedure until he cleared his name. Instead, Peter Pan just wanted to fly back to Neverland and get high.
@stonegrooved wahtever!!! he wil be remembered as a hero in our eyes, i mean fans eyes, tha means millions of billions of people. only 2 or three assholes, like u, will remeber him in that way!!!! u made your opinion clear now, can u fuck off his videos???????????
Michael Jackson will be remembered as a popular musician that molested children. That’s all. Turn the page.
@sclgable True Crime was awesome!! Proved those people are liars and MJ was innocent!!
@stonegrooved Fuck off, okay? You can change shit because you’re a nobody. MJ was acquitted of those fraudulent charges. Y’know I wouldn’t mind you so much if you did the same to Woody Allen, Roman Polanski, and other rapist. MJ was innocent, fucker!! Go to Woody’s page and tell his fans that shit.
I have the right to state my opinions! I should leave so you idol worshipers can bellow about what a divine cancer curing, prophet Saint Micheal was? Michael Jackson was chid molesting, drug addicted criminal!!! It’s my duty as a responsible U.S. citizen to speak out against injustice. It’s called “freedom of speech.” You fans need to brush up on Amercian history!!
i mean Martin, not matin
by the way ” stonegrooved” or whatever other mj haters, matin confessed that he lied!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dont tell me he was forced to, cose he wasnt , ok???!!!!!!
@FUCKBEATLESELVIS ya exactly!!!!!
@stonegrooved Hey, Douche. Shut the fuck up with your tabloid references. MJ is the King, Bitches. Fuck off you old bitch.
MJ says in these videos that the only way he would allow those boys to sleep in his bed is if they got their parent’s permission first. The video doesn’t show what those parent’s response was but ask yourself this: what do you think those parent’s reaction would be if their 10-13 year old boys asked for permission to go to bed with a 45 year old man??? Regardless of what those parents might have said, it’s clear MJ entertained himself with those boys in his bedroom.
I think it’s more than likely those parents didn’t have a clue to what MJ was up to. I think MJ didn’t care whether those parents approved or not and just did what felt good to him. Then, he prepped those boys to lie. The tale MJ spins that you fans swallow hook, line and sinker is so loose and absurd, it sounds like something a child or a person on drugs would make up.
Whether he had those underaged boy’s parent’s consent or not, MJ ACTED like he had their blessing! How likely is it that MJ cared about what those parents thought? When Bashir asked him if he thinks it’s appropriate for a 45 year old man to share his bed with children he said, “Of course! The public just needs to learn to accept it!”
Michael Jackson didn’t care if ANYONE disapproved of what he was doing!
@catzpaw3 exactly, i completely agree with u, my m8 hes not a huge mj fan but he doesnt beilieve the allegations. and i certainly dont, never have never will, n ill leave itb at that, dont wanna start an argument lol.
Good news for those of you who admire MJ. The Aphrodite Jones show about the allegations is now on YouTube. Check out True Crime with Aphrodite Jones ~ The Michael Jackson episode in your search area and you will be able to watch all 6 parts. And for any doubters, it would be nice for you to see it and hopefully finally understand that Michael was innocent.
@sclgable I’ll admit that I don’t scour my posts for every single, tiny imperfection. That’s because this is an internet forum and I believe getting your point across is more important than obsessing over every punctuation point. The criticism I made about someone’s English had to do with the fact that her words were so jumbled and misused; I couldn’t understand what she was? trying to say.
@sclgable This is the last thing I intend to say about this. I’ll leave looking for trivial points to bitch about up to you
@stonegrooved Can’t take it when someone points out that you are wrong? Priceless.
@sclgable You’re repeating yourself, precious.
@sclgable By the way, you should have used a comma between want and stonegoon. Your use of an ellipsis [...] is pretty odd as well.
@sclgable – Lies are lies, dummy. Lying will never prove how honest a person is no matter how many time you idiots try to explain it. It wouldn’t work for me or you and IT DOESN’T WORK FOR MR. FABULOUS EITHER!!!
@stonegrooved The facts will never change…so call it whatever you want stonegoon…it makes you look more desperate. Your sentence is grammatically incorrect again…it should read…”you could have asked “really” important questions…not “real” important. Redneck.
@sclgable Your points are getting weaker by the second. MJ made these videos to prove to the world what an honest, swell guy he is. If there were questions that he didn’t want to elaborate on, he should have hired one of you fans to interview him. Then, you could have asked him REAL important questions like, “how’d you get so sexy?”
