Michael Jackson has a skin disorder called Vitiligo. After years of fighting it and covering it up he choose the final solution, what many people with the disease do, which is a procedure called Depigmintation. For all those who have showed great support of Michael and/or left kind comments on the video, I thank you. This has just become one long argument after another though, with people insulting each other left and right.If you would like to leave a mature comment, then feel free to send me a message. For now I will be disabling the comments. I just will not allow all the hate and insults from one person to another to go one underneath a video I created.

maybe Michael did donate under someone elses name, or maybe he has and just didn’t tell anyone. We don’t know what he’s done with his personal life. It’s not fair for you to assume something like that. Besides, has he donated to Discoid Lupus Foundations? He supposedly has that, too.

The only reason vitiligo is a “bad” disease is because society says so. I LOVE calico cats, “paint” horses, merle dogs, etc. So why should I be any different with humans. Solid colors are not the end all be all of beauty. Variety can be just as beautiful. Why not start accepting it as an alternative form of beauty???
honey, his case was serious meaning that he is losing his pigment in LARGE quanities. So, he is mostly white, with very few brown, he still very spotty. As a vitilgo suffer myself I found the same things he uses, make-up. So, you don’t know a thing, because you don’t have the facts. Grow-up and shut-up.
actually he wears white make-up his skin is still very spotty…check his recent photos when he was at Jesse Jacksons birthday party. He has brown patches on his nose. I wear brown make-up to cover my patches.
I think I have something that can turn into vitiligo in the near future…I’m not sure it’s a birth mark because i’ve never seen it before..I mean it was there but it’s never been this white. I’m from Puerto Rico and I have tanned skin that is not bright pale white like this patch on my skin.

wait when i say “bleaching” i mean “making” the skin dark. In the BAD era he was tan, and from what the eye could see, it was an even complexion. but what you said, “if he wanted to be white he would have done it a lot sooner” maybe he wanted to be white FOR the whole BAD era because at that point, BAD’S music was considered white or something. IDK. Still love him, though.
How can you bleach it dark? Bleaching consists of whitening. I don’t think it’d be easy making the skin dark.
And you’re right, we don’t know Mj. We can only take his words for it. You know, he wasn’t completely white during the bad era…if he wanted to be white he’d do it alot sooner. It was gradual…I’m sure it just got so bad that it resulted in him becoming white. And it’s just make-up…he isn’t permanently white (except for the white blotches.)

i’m sorry do you know Michael personally? No. We can ASSUME all we want to that Michael liked who he was and his skin, and i think he did, but i also believe that the bleached the rest of his skin to match the spots. He even said that he had to bleach the rest of his skin so it could match. He COULD have bleached it brown all the way but i think he CHOSE to have it white.
Man, with Michael, there’s no telling what is the truth, true. It’s one person’s word against the others…it’s what you want to believe. No one will ever KNOW the REAL Michael Jackson. He’s like a mystery…but c’mon, there’s NO WAY he’d want to deliberately turn white.
He’s a proud African American and strongly believe the fact he had no choice but to put make-up all over his body (which the make-up artist he has admitted to had to be done in a video here on youtube.) It just became easier for him o be “white” as there was more white blotches than “dark.”
How can you say that??? Did you even watch this entire video??? Look at how serious it gets. There is NO WAY Michael would deliberately transform himself from black to white and disgrace his family whom he loves so much. It’s not in Michael at all.

Why do Michael Jackson fans always lie and say that they have vitiligo? Really weird. 100% of people that actually have the disease agree that Michael Jackson is lying because he never does anything to raise awareness of the disease,it’s causes and it’s treatment. In every interview when asked about it he has almost no knowledge of it except that it is the explanation for his skin getting lighter. He uses the disease as a cover up for the reality that he has depigmented his skin.

to Bl6ckWom6n: there is make-up to cover skin disorders like vitiligo and Michael defaintly uses them! i can tell, and his condition is worst than mine, his pigment is completely gone…and also, no one knows the true cause for vitiligo. so, i implore you do not judge too harshly until you get all of the facts. –Saigurl
to brianalattimore: don’t wish that on anyone because that condition is horrible I should know bcoz, I have it. though it isn’t deadly it’s deadly on the physche and i wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
