no, he said around off the wall or thriller.

the reason he designed white glove, is cuz it started from left hand. that designer said that in an interview.and there were pics of that period without glove,his whole left hand was white.

actually michael said that he had the vitiligo sometime after thriller, during oprah interview.
this could have been the reflestiion of all the glitter he is wearing probably the glove!!

This is breathtaking! I can watch it over and over. NO ONE has ever had a bigger impact on audiences. This was just the beginning of his outstanding and genius solo performances. Whenever Michael said, “I love you more” we loved him more. May he rest in peace.

Crazy how people were just confused when he was doing the moonwalk for the first time (technically called the backslide, not the moonwalk). People didn’t know how to react!

This was definitely a moment in television history that no one can take from him. But I think he perfected his MoonWalk…the whole Billie Jean routine, over the years. I was a J5 fan wayyy b4 Motown 25, so this is one of my fav MJ performances. But I also love his 1995 MTV VMA performance also. Check it out to see a true master at work. RIP MJ. Still loving you more…MOST!
