@gorojo1 It won’t come. I think we’ve heard the last of the new and original. People are scared to put out anything new.

  2. gorojo1 says:

@Donnymac It’s so funny you say Prince and Stevie. They are my two favorite artists.

I read your bio about “real music”, you are so right.

Is any new artist today capable of making an a 2-disc album like “1999″ or “Songs in the Key of Life” where every song is solid?

Hip Hop died with Big and 2pac. I’m a Christian now and try to listen more happier and uplifting stuff, but at least both of them had talent.

Sure I’m Old School, but still waiting for anyone new and original.
    Where are they?

  3. Donnymac says:

@gorojo1 I wholeheartedly agree. Prince and Stevie are the Last ones left.

Oh my god! You can’t help but to love that beautiful face. Sometime its so painful to see him and know he’s gone, but it was a pleasure to know that I was alive to see a great and extraordinary person like Michael J. Jackson. Thank you Lord!

This performance and the lyrics were nominated for an Emmy. For some unknown reason, the emmy people didn’t see fit to give Michael the award for this fine performance…of course, they didn’t give it to him for the iconic Motown performance either, so they are idiots.

OMG this is my favourite video of all time. I got $250 of MJ music from ‘MJfanFreebies’ – he’s wonderful! I love MJ so much :)

  11. impavida4 says:

You are so right, rtoriq. I’ve wondered the same thing — why don’t people talk about this kind of thing he did, these amazing gifts he had, what an incredible person he was. Also, I too thought this was a song someone else wrote. Thanks for posting this so I know now!

  12. vdejlig says:

this is just a wonderful song, how can it be possible to write songs like that?… hes amazing, love u mj, will never forget u!

  13. rtoriq says:

The whole time i thought he was singing a song by someone else, but i just looked it up, and this man wrote it himself, in direct dedication to Sammy Davis Jr, unheard of before by Sammy (thus the looks on his face).

Damn, he is such a slept-on songwriter. Why don’t things like this about MJ ever come to light?

  14. billyr2k says:

he is just the most amazing singer i have ever heard!

  15. janet060948 says:

I agree gorojo1. The musical artists of today lack the originality, talent and the strive to become better at what the do. There are a few exceptions to this statement, but way too few. They seem to be ” in the game” for only the money. So few of them perform to bring us joy and excitement. Gone are the performers who let their true emotions and innermost feelings control their artistry. I’ll take a singer that can sing “from his heart”, over a robot, any day of the week.

  16. bertcake says:

This is why I like mike because he respected the talents before him. He always gave honor to Sammy, Ray C.,and James Brown through his short life on Earth. Panthere1308. I must say that michael and sammy are equally the best entertainers that ever lived. We all saw the artistry that michael has done, yet sammy did it all: sing, dance, and acted on tv, broadway, movies, and live concerts around the world being called the “n-word” by his enemies and being called “colored” by his friends. nice video.

  17. sosweetss57 says:

i love mj:) god bless him. if only the public didnt treat him the way they did. They should have appreciated what they had cuz u never know what you have until its… gone….gone too soon… :’(

  18. tycoongalleries says:

A wonderful video, God Bless you for sharing this video.

  19. urlildawg2 says:

    Wonderful!
I hear that he wrote this song the night before. Just amazing. From one legend to another!

  20. fjmi says:

    @gorojo1
maybe you should watch outside the US? yes, there is a world outside ;)
and there are many good singers.

btw. i like the voice of beyonce its fantastic. her music is **** but thats life in the us, you have to make some very special music to be played in radio(shows).

  21. amanielijer says:

true but if there was no michael there were no blacks on MTv right?

  22. Loriphernetton says:

wow fantastic video. I got $250 of FREE MJ music from ‘MJfanFreebies’, i have everything he’s ever done!! He’s amazing!

  23. Panthere1308 says:

Rajecks, I agree, I never said I didn’t treasure Sammy Davis jr. I’m just saying that this song and also Gone Too Soon, which he dedicated to others, seem written for himself. I do appreciate Sammy and many others, but MJ is the best entertainer that ever lived. Of course, thanks to Sammy Davis jr., thanks to Marvin Gaye and thanks to James Brown.

  24. rajecks says:

i understand your sentiments….but if people like Sammy did not come through, i am sorry to say but there would be no MJ….people like sammy made it ok for mainstream America to listen to “black” artists…so thanks to you Sammy, becos our Generation had MJ..if only we treated him better

  25. gorojo1 says:

As this decade draws to a close I look back at videos like this and wonder where the talent went.

    Where are the Superstars?

Like Bing, Elvis, The Rat Pack, Beatles or MJ?

In the 2000′s, who was our super stars.

    Gaga? Miley? Rhianna? 50cent?

    Perhaps Beyonce.
But she is technically a product of the late 90s too.

This decade was hands down the worst decade in pop music ever.

The superstar artist is officially dead.

BREAKING NEWS:Michael Jackson dies at age 50, source says

  31. LaMeuriea Coleman says:

“Michael Jackson Dies” read like the title of a new “Thriller”
Thought came to mind, this can't be for real
For “We Are the World” and his music gave us “Butterflies”
But the truth is man, born of a woman must die
It's simple as “ABC” and doesn't matter if he was “Black or White”
All that really counts is being pleasing in God's sight
So when he took his final look at the “Man in the Mirror”
I pray he liked the image his eyes were given
That's not for me to judge, no the decision is not mine
But as I sit and reflect, I can “Remember the Times”
When his behavior was a bit “Off the Wall”
But I really didn't think he was “Bad” at all
And on that great day, he'll stand in judgment’s stare
But Michael, “You Are Not Alone”, we've all “Got to be There”
I'm sure many will cry and even cause a scene
To name a couple, “Dirty Diana” and Billie Jean”
So if you “Wanna Be Starting Something” with “Who's Lovin You” or just
Feeling like “They Don't Really Care About Us”
Keep playing his music, “Don't Stop Til You Get Enough”
For this day we found that he wasn't “Invincible”
Whether you thought of him as a “Dancing Machine” or a “Smooth Criminal”
When it's all said and done, one thing you can't deny
He left a legacy of music to which we “Never Can Say Goodbye”

    RIP Michael Jackson
