Michael Jackson – Stranger in Moscow (History) 1995 Sonic 3 – Credits theme To celebrate the revelation by Brad Buxer that Michael Jackson did compose music for Sonic 3, here is my version of the famous Credits remix with Stranger in Moscow. Brad confirmed he and MJ worked on the credits theme and then used it as a base for Stranger in Moscow.

  1. Genocide city is NOT in the sonic 2 beta.

The level you show is a fan made creation.

google it if you dont believe me.

  2. I thought that they took Genocide City OUT of the sonic 2 beta version. It’s not in my copy, at any rate, all I get is the green lines of doom.

  3. Haha. Yeah, I know. I was a bit addlepated there myself. Glad we could clear things up. And yes: bygones shall be bygones.

  4. wow… the speed of our replies is making it hard to tell who’s replying to what…
    No prob. Bygones and whatever.

Yes, I know that. The music is the credits theme you get if you play through Sonic 3 without having it connected to Sonic & knuckles. I am well aware of that. I was Just teaching everyone who was confused about these levels, is all. Sorry for the confusion.

  6. That’s because both stages are in the Sonic ***2 BETA***
The music is the Sonic 3 Credits.

  7. That’s because these stages aren’t in a released version of a Sonic game. If you look over to the right, the video description tells you they are from the BETA of Sonic 2, as in, pre-release test build.

  8. The stage shown in the video is actually a beta level from Sonic 2 called “Genocide City Zone” that was taken out of the final game. (Much like Hidden Palace Zone, a stage which later saw a face-lift and a cameo appearance in Sonic & Knuckles.)

  9. Due to the speed this was made, I guess my PM was unneeded. Again, may Mike rest in peace. Didn’t expect the This Is It tour to be through the various afterlives, but I’ll be sure to see every concert after I pass.

Incredibly, Stranger in Moscow fits the image of Genocide City. Must be the similar motif to the actual vid. I bow to you good sir.
