MJJJusticeProject Mission: Joe Vogel’s “Earth Song: Inside Michael Jackson’s Magnum Opus” [HD]

*No Copyright Infringement Intended* Joseph Vogel deftly examines this beautifully crafted, electrically charged masterpiece Earth Song and illuminates Michael’s unique abilities and spiritual path traveled when creating his music. Attempting to get inside the mind of the greatest musical artist of our time is no small undertaking but in conjunction with quotes from Michael himself we can discern that Joe Vogel has done an exemplary job of depicting the genius of this Man In The Music. “Great music and great melodies are immortal. I don’t care…you know, fashion change, culture changes, customs change. Great music is immortal. We still listen to Mozart today…any of the greats. Great music is like a great piece of sculpture or a great painting. It’s forever. You know, for generations upon generations to appreciate forever. And …I know that’s a fact.” “It’s hard to say how one creates music, because it’s hard for me to take credit. I feel it’s more spiritual or heavenly.” “See the thing is, artists seem to get in the way of the music. Get out of the way of the music. You know,…don’t write the music. Let the music write itself.” “If I sat here and played some chords whatever and say, ‘I’m gonna write the best song ever written’ nothing happens. Something in the heavens has to say ‘Look, this is the time, that this is gonna be laid on you and this is when I want you to have it.”‘ “When I create my music I feel like an instrument of nature. I wonder what delight nature

I wrote this on Twitter after reading Mr. Vogel’s book. “Having read the Earth Song book that Joe Vogel wrote in its entirety, I believe it is the one of the most thoroughly researched, most respectfully composed pieces ever written about Michael’s creative process. I applaud Mr. Vogel for his thoughtful, educated approach to the subject matter, as well as his obvious respect and understanding of Michael’s music and indeed his vision.” Thank-you MJJJusticeProject for this video. Well done!
