  1. Hey, I don’t want to brag or anything, but I consider myself extremely lucky! I attended a masterclass given by Marcus Miller and afterwards he let me play on the actual bass he plays all the time, including this video. he even gave me tips about my thumb-slap technique!

  2. I know what you mean, you hear the same licks coming up often with marcus. Having said that, I’ve heard him play a variety of stuff, maybe he just needs to integrate it into his solo performances more. Also, given that he does an extended bass clarinet solo in this vid… can’t exactly criticise for lack of variety haha.

    And Marcus has cryed during he played human nature it was wonderful
