DEBBIE JACKSON’S MINI MUSEUM FOR MICHAEL JACKSON

This museum for Michael Jackson, has been built in my home in Auckland, for the purpose of displaying my Michael Jackson memorabilia collection. Building of the museum took 5 weeks and was mainly finished a week prior to Christmas 2011, but took several days and weeks to decorate and display the full collection. Though this is a long video, I hope you enjoy my guided tour. Special thanks to family and friends who have gifted me with items, and also thanks to Julien’s Auction’s for making it possible to purchase possessions once worn and used by Michael.

Rilo Jackson performs Smooth Criminal by Michael Jackson Date: 30th December 2011 Song: Smooth Criminal Artist: Michael Jackson Album: Bad (1987) “Smooth Criminal” is the seventh single from Michael Jackson’s 1987 Bad album. The song contains a fast-paced beat intertwined with Jackson’s lyrics about a woman named Annie, who has been attacked in her apartment by a “smooth” assailant. It was released as a single on October 24, 1988 and peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100.[1] It was re-released on April 10, 2006 as a part of the Visionary: The Video Singles box-set. The re-released Visionary single charted at No. 19 in the UK. The piece is one of Jackson’s signature songs, and has appeared on numerous greatest hits albums, including Number Ones, The Essential Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson: The Ultimate Collection, King of Pop and This Is It (for the New version of song). The song also serves as the theme song to Jackson’s 1988 film Moonwalker.

The song was released by Epic Records on February 11, 2011, as the second single from Michael. The spoken parts were performed by Jackson’s nephew, Taryll Jackson and written by Teddy Riley. An accompanying music video was released on March 10, 2011. It features Algeria-born French dancer Sofia Boutella dressed in a Michael Jackson inspired outfit performing a routine with 60 dancers.
