Tabloid Junkie is from Michael Jackson’s HIStory album. Released in 1995, it was made after the release of Sonic 3 but the Knuckles theme along with parts fo the Miniboss theme seem to fit very well with the rhythm. Also if you listen to the original track carefully, you can hear what appears to be the “Go” sample from Launch Base Zone.
