Michael Jackson Memorial Service Video King of Pop, Michael Jackson snuffed it at the age of 50 on June twenty-five, 2009 due to a cardiac arrest at his leased mansion in LA. Joseph Jackson, Michael’s dad had planned the funeral and it was held on July 7, 2009 after a personal family service at Staples Center. The funeral wasn’t closed to the general public since Joe discussed that Michael would have wanted a similar service. Jackson’s solid-bronze box coated with blue velvet and plated with 14-karat gold was taken to the Staples Center and was placed on the stage. The stage had floral agreements with photos of Jackson and Jackson 5 was projected on the screen behind. So many music stars attended Michael Jackson’s funeral : Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Jennifer Hudson, plus many more.
The memorial service had Jackson’s siblings and youngsters al present in the front row. A video was presented featuring Jackson’s Neverland Ranch and his meeting with Ronald Reagan followed by videos of his super hit albums and scenes from his film “The Wiz”. Stevie Wonder sang songs from his album “Off the Wall” and also albums which they co-wrote. Kobe Bryant, Martin Luther King Jr’s youngsters and Sheila Jackson-Lee ( representing the US House of members ) appreciated Michael for all his charitable work and honored him by mentioning that he used to be a true world humanitarian.

Other guests who spoke for Michael were Magic Johnson and Brooke Shields and performances by John Mayer, Usher, Jennifer Hudson and Jermaine Jackson. All of the celebs and people close to Michael were present to pay their homage to the star of radio, rock and videos. Jackson’s family addresses the bunch and his girl Paris Jackson spoke to the guests with respect for his father. The box was taken out and the service ended with an instrumental version of “Man in the Mirror” in the background. Living with Michael Jackson is a documentary, in which British journalist Martin Bashir interviewed Michael Jackson over a span of 8 months, from May 2002 to January 2003. It was shown first in the UK on 3 February 2003 and in the US three days later on ABC, introduced by Barbara Walters. Martin Bashir put the proposal to Jackson as a way to show the world the truth about him and make nothing off limits. Jacksons decision to make the documentary was made on the suggestion by his close friend Uri Geller. It later emerged that Geller had turned down another bid for the interview by journalist Louis Theroux. The interview was very unusual, as it had been extremely rare for Jackson to allow such access to his personal life, or to talk so freely about his traumatic childhood. Nevertheless, he did show some reserve when asked to discuss other personal issues, such as the plastic surgery he has had. Jackson felt betrayed by Bashir and complained that the film gives a distorted picture of his behaviour and conduct as a father. He claims that Bashir, in the final version of his interview, used only that material which supported Bashirs opinion of Jackson, which was not a favorable one. Jackson filed complaints with the UKs Independent Television Commission and the Broadcasting Standards Commission.
