Conrad Murray – Guilty Of Michael Jackson Manslaughter

Monday November 07, 2011 The jury in the involuntary manslaughter trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor has reached a verdict & that verdict is GUILTY. The judgement was read shortly after 9pm from the court in Los Angeles. It took the jury of seven men and five women just nine hours over two days to decide the fate of Dr Conrad Murray, following a trial that lasted for six weeks. Murray, 58, pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter & now faces up to four years in prison. Murray had been hired to care for Jackson as he prepared for a series of planned comeback concerts at the O2 Arena in London. Michael Jackson was found lifeless at his Los Angeles mansion on June 25, 2009, aged 50. He was later ruled to have died from an overdose of propofol – which is normally used as a surgical anaesthetic – and sedatives. Let’s just hope that Michael’s family, friends & fans can get some sort of closure from his untimely death & they can move on & in doing so can let the great man rest in peace. RIP Michael Jackson.
