This week in the music world, Beyonce proves she’s a force to be reckoned with, some highly anticipated vids drop, and headliners are announced for the MJ tribute concert. starting with Beyonce, she announced she would be playing 4 shows in NYC next week, and those tickets went like hot cakes! The first show sold out in a matter of 22 seconds, and the other three didn’t lag too far behind. Next up is Glee, and for once it’s positive news. Creator Ryan Murphy said the next season will be super happy and positive because the world needs it right now. He mentioned his inspiration came from the 3D movie, which by the way is out in theaters, so you might wanna hit that up! In sad news, singer Gavin DeGraw was attacked by a group of people early this week, hit by a cab, and then taken to the hospital. He’s since been released, but has canceled tour dates to recover. As far as music videos go, both Moves Like Jagger and otis came out, and we love them both! And finally, The Michael Jackson tribute concert will finally be taking place on October 8th, with Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green as headliners. So those are your weekly top stories!
