Anuncio del tour y Etapas A diferencia de los dos últimos tours de Jackson, el “HIStory World Tour” no fue auspiciado por Pepsi. El nacimiento del Reino Internacional, una empresa conjunta entre Jackson y Su Alteza Real el Príncipe Al-Waleed bin Talal, sobrino del Fahd bin Abdul Aziz, el Rey de Arabia Saudita de 1982 a 2005, se anunció en una conferencia de prensa celebrada en el “Palais des Congres” en Paris, Francia el 19 de marzo del año 1995. Reino Internacional permite la oportunidad de ser creado y desarrollado en la industria del entretenimiento. En esta conferencia, Jackson dijo que “Reino Internacional es un sueño hecho realidad”. Fue entonces que Jackson anunció que emprenderá su tercera gira mundial en solitario. By request… I’m dancing Will You be There, this really deep and beautiful song. “Will You Be There” is a song by Michael Jackson which was released as a single in 1993. The song was introduced in the 1991 album Dangerous and also appeared on the soundtrack to the film Free Willy, of which it is the main theme. The song was one of the biggest hits from Dangerous, staying in the top 40 for over six weeks in the UK. The single achieved even greater success in the US, where it sold over 500000 copies and stayed in the top 10 for six weeks, peaking at number 7 and later being certified Gold. The single has sold 1312000 copies worldwide. In a 2002 ITV interview, Jackson said that he wrote “Will You Be There” while sitting in a tree at his Neverland Ranch. The full version of the song includes a prelude featuring the Cleveland Orchestra and the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus performing a portion of Beethoven’s ninth symphony. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Music critics Stephen Thomas Erlewine and Stephen Holden observed that Off the Wall was crafted from funk, disco-pop, soul, soft rock, jazz and pop ballads. It was released on November 30, 1982 by Epic Records as the follow-up to Jackson’s critically and commercially successful 1979 album Off the Wall. Thriller explores similar genres to those of Off the Wall, including funk, soul, pop, easy listening, R&B, rock and post-disco music. Thriller cemented Jackson’s status as one of the preeminent Pop Stars of the late 20th century, and enabled him to break down racial barriers via his appearances on MTV and meeting with President Ronald Reagan at the White House.
