Michael Jackson has always been and remains a huge musical influence in my life; my first solo public performances between the ages 5 and 11 were ALL Michael Jackson songs. He did so much for me and my own music. I guess I could never properly ‘accept’ his passing and so avoided covering his songs in tribute, despite people having asked.
