I can’t remember whether they said that it was a cream or something else. The doctor definitely said that something was prescribed to minimize the discolorations though.

O I see now I thought that because of his vitilago and blotchy skin- because of that, that he went ahead and bleached his skin so tha it would be even…. I didn’t know it was that bad and that he used make up instead to even out his skin tone…. But now I see…
I don’t think that he ever completely stopped wearing make-up. Some places on his body still had discoloration…and I think that he just liked wearing make-up.
Personally, I’m not sure what “bleaching” is so I don’t know if it was the same process or not. I think that the doctor said that they prescribed some kind of cream and told him to use it.
So when did he stopped using make up to cover it when started to do this depigmantation thing? Is it done the same way as normal bleaching? If so, Michael definelty pulled a lie when he said he doesn even know about bleaching. He probably was scared that people wouldnt understand that he had to bleach it.

I think that one of his doctors confirmed that after he died. They said that he was heart-broken when he found out that he was going to have to “depigment” his skin because they couldn’t reverse the vitiligo and there was too much to cover up the spots any longer
It’s been said that he had lupus as well. That can make the skin VERY sensitive to the sun as well. It’s been proven that he had vitiligo. The lupus wasn’t documented.
all respect to michael, but that show also mentioned a treatment that returns the pigmentation. It takes longer but its possible… I guess it was michael’s choice to have the simpler depigmentation treatment that made the public criticize him.
i see many people with this condition everyday! MJ had it bad cause he was in the public eye. though their are people out there who really bleach their skin MJ wasnt one of them. you can clearly see his skin getting lighter in the bad video. there are many pictures of him during the thriller era where he’s wearing hats to cover himself up. and him wearing one glove that was to cover up the pacthes on his hand!!! and if u still think he bleached his skin…..YOUR SO DUMB AND IGNORANT!!!
vittiligo actual makes ur skin a lighter color… it turns a pinkish color when u stay in the sun.. thats y he said the sun was bad for him…
Im sure MJ had vitiligo, but still he did something to even out the spots. first it was probably make up but im sure he did something to make himself all white instead of getting patches, but thats like a secret or something.

Look up Darcel deVlugt; she had the same condition as Michael as a little girl she was brown and now her skin pigment is white. She was on the Today show in July after Michael’s death, but i don’t think many paid much attention. . .
from the autopsy report in October:
“He indeed suffered from a skin disease that reduced pigment and left patches of white skin around his chest, abdomen, face and arms.”
